Program in Douro

3-day program to discover the Douro in a different way! On the first day the route is always accompanied by our local guide who will tell the stories of our people and this region of World Heritage. A visit to a beautiful Wine Winery and a visit to the Miradouro de S. Leonardo de Galafura, one of the most emblematic of the Douro and source of inspiration to the writer and poet Miguel Torga, are also reasons to visit us!

Programa:

1st Day

  • Arrive at Régua (by your own)

10h30 – Welcome by our guide

  • Régua / Pinhão train ride
  • Interpretive visit at Pinhão Station
  • Visit to the Metallic Bridge
  • Lunch with tasting of regional dishes
  • Boat trip Rabelo in Rio (1 hour)
  • Guided tour with wine tasting at a Local Wine Farm

18h20 – Return by regular train to Régua

18h48 – Scheduled arrival at Régua station

  • Check in at Original Douro Hotel
  • Dinner at local restaurant
  • Accommodation

2nd Day

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Departure for Poiares (own car)
  • Guided visit to Quinta Seara D’Ordens with wine tasting
  • Lunch in the panoramic restaurant of São Leonardo de Galafura
  • Admire the rare beauty of this viewpoint
  • Return to Régua
  • Dinner at local restaurant
  • Accommodation

3rd Day

  • Breakfast at the hotel and Check out
  • Free visit to the Douro Museum
